Women in Public Relations Ghana is a professional networking organisation committed to educating, mentoring and empowering female PR professionals and students. It was established in May 2017 as a not-for-profit organization by Ms Faith Senam Ocloo, a Fashion PR Specialist and founder of e’april Public Relations

MEMBERSHIP

The public relations industry in Ghana is still a budding one. While there are many successful female practitioners in leadership positions, we believe there are much more women in mid-level and entry level roles.

OUR INITIATIVES

WOMEN IN PR ANNUAL SUMMITS

Women in PR Ghana Summit is our annual flagship event gathering women practicing and studying Public Relations and Communications. We have so far reached 1000+ professionals and students.

PR IN THE PARK

PR in the Park is the ultimate day out for all female PR practitioners and students to bond and share experiences and knowledge. It seeks to create an avenue for equipping women with relevant skills.

PR COCKTAILS & CONVERSATIONS

PR Conversations and Cocktails is a networking event for female professionals to connect with colleagues from other industries. It is mostly an end of year event aimed at rounding up the year long activities and plan the new year.

AN EVENING WITH

“An Evening with” is an intimate networking event targeted at professionals seeking inspiration and guidance in their career. It allows participants to have direct opportunity with PR Trailblazers.

INDUSTRY VRS. CLASSROOM

Industry vs Classroom is a Women in PR Ghana “Campus Series” event which takes female PR practitioners to the various communication schools to mentor , impart knowledge and connect.

IWD NETWORKING EVENT

International Women’s Day – This is a special IWD event or activity to mark the celebration of women globally. It includes networking and conversations of women’s role in shaping the future of PR.
