Faith Senam April

Faith Senam is an Accra-based Fashion PR Specialist, fashion writer and founder of e'april Public Relations.

She founded e’april Public Relations in 2012; a boutique PR firm with the objective to develop and execute PR and brand strategies for emerging and established brands within the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industry.

Knowing the potential of these industries and the role PR can play in it, she realized the need for many of these businesses to include public relations in their overall brand strategies to build successful brands. She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses to grow through PR campaigns, strategic partnerships and digital PR.  She loves to be part of the growth process by focusing on managing the brand’s positioning and developing strategies that will create awareness and increase brand knowledge. She loves connecting brands to the right audiences.

Since starting out, Faith has led groundbreaking PR Strategies for brands such as Adubea Jensen, Selina Beb, Ghana Menswear Week, Horseman Shoes, Pure Persona by Nana, So Aesthetics, Nadrey Laurent, Evangel Magazine amongst several other brands she has consulted for on project basis; connecting them to audiences who love their brand.

Prior to fully running her PR firm in 2018, she worked with Global Media Alliance as an Account Manager for Unilever where she worked on the re-launch of Vaseline beauty product on to the Ghanaian market. She also managed other accounts including Diamond Cement, Huawei, FHi360 Learning Project and World Oral Health Day project.

In 2020, Faith was awarded 40 under 40 Achiever in the Communications Category. She was also named among 10 Women Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2020 and listed among 10 Woman Rising Personal Brands they admire in 2020 both by womanrising.org.

When she’s not connecting brands to bloggers, media and influencers or developing and executing strategies, she’s with her other love; Public Relations where she founded Women in Public Relations Ghana, a not-for-profit organization committed to educating, mentoring and empowering female PR professionals and students in Ghana and beyond.
